Special Events & Private Functions
Picketts Valley Gardens is an ideal location for private functions and weddings. We provide the beautiful venue and let you manage the costs yourself, just a mention of the word “Weddings” and the price seems to triple, we operate as a dry hire venue, we supply the venue and you supply whatever you need, Marque etc. we can supply a preferred supplier list to help get you started.
Weddings – (Thursday to Sunday)
We have our own in-house coordinator / planner to work with you, she has done many events and weddings here and knows exactly how to get the best out of the venue for you – her initial consultation is only $250 where she sits down with you and works out exactly what you are looking for and then puts together a budget for you to work with, any hire requirements are done by you directly so no margin or extra costs from us, we allow you to buy and manage your own bar and supply’s which keeps your costs way down, we can arrange catering for you from a number of local firms or even prepare cocktail style in-house or you can do it yourself.
Our packages are very simple, they all include exclusive use of all the gardens with 3 ceremony areas to choose from, Marque area on front lawn for up to 80 guests (MARQUE HIRE NOT INCLUDED), parking for 15 cars, cocktail style reception areas – poolside or in the cabana or terrace area. (Portable toilets required above 50 guests) – plus All 3 Luxury suites each suite with Ensuite and bath, individual LCD TV & A/C, the lounge has 2 x Sofa beds with own bathroom and privacy doors. Covered terrace overlooking stunning valley / garden views, full kitchen and dining plus plenty of outdoor seating and dining options. Our 5 acre property has a BBQ, Pool, Fire Pit, Lounge with 70” TV, & Complimentary WiFi.

Choose from our 3 beautiful settings – with the terrace set up for refreshments.
Up to 50 Guests – $3,500
50 to 75* Guests – $5,000
75* to a max of 120* guests – $10,000
Any number above 50 requires portable toilet hire at an additional cost. We have our own septic system that limits us to 50 max guests, using our existing 4 bathrooms.
Ceremony & Reception
With or without Marque, we have 3 lovely areas for you to choose from depending on the size and style of your wedding.
Up to 50 Guests – $5,500
50 to 75* Guests – $7,500
75* to a max of 120* guests – $12,500

Pop up Weddings
Keep an eye out for our soon to be released POP up dates. As we have multiple areas for ceremonies, we run up to 6 weddings all on one day and share the costs across all the weddings, this allows you to have a fixed cost for your ceremony and enjoy the surroundings but sharing the costs instead of paying for exclusivity.
This is a great way to keep a control of your costs yet enjoy a beautiful location for your wedding.
Packages start from $5000 and include 2 hours for up to 30 guests – with your own Planner, Celebrant, Photographer, and light refreshments and nibbles, before you move onto your chosen venue/restaurant for your own private reception.
